The new tab in Microsoft have never been improved since the bad old day msn.com
It is always the combination of gossip, ads, click bait and scam-like content.
This is embarrassing to see and especially when you share the screen.
How to turn it off
Click new tab and on the upper right hand side setting icon.
You need to turn the ‘Show feed’ to ‘Off’
Press enter or click to view image in full size
You need to turn it OFF not hide
Note that if you pick ‘Headings’, it still preload under the tab consuming your internet and you might accidentally scroll up and it will appears again.
